The draw for the Ben Francis Cup was drawn last night and with a new format this year with the Shield competition open only to Division 3 sides whilst the Cup is for all sides that wanted to enter from Championship to Division 2.
With only12 teams entering the cup the draw gave four games and four byes into the next round. Luck was on our side and we were one of the four sides receiving byes. The other sides being Cwmbran, Pill and Risca. It looks as though our round wont take place until the New Year.
